Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 5-9
People love growing the popular Neptune™ Rose (Rosa 'WEKhilpurnil') for the magnificent color, form, and fragrance of the showy blooms. Another winning introduction hybridized by Tom Carruth, large Neptune™ Roses feature up to 45 petals that are lavender-blushed purple at the very edge. Neptune™ Roses are somewhat cupped, and the petal edges are moderately reflexed outward, a perfect shape to lift, sniff and savor the incredible fragrance.
Strong citrus scent and fresh, ombré coloration make Neptune™ a mythic addition to your mixed garden beds and patio plantings. It's a continuous rebloomer that produces both single and clustered blooms at the end of strong medium to long stems, perfect for indoor arrangements. When you grow reblooming Hybrid Tea Roses, start collecting vases! Regular cutting for indoor arrangements actually encourages additional blooming flushes from late spring through fall.
Vigorous, upright, bushy Neptune™ Rose plants feature large, glossy green leaves and very good disease resistance. Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 5 through 9, these are modern hardy Rose shrubs that have upright growth and narrow form.
Planting and Application:
Thoroughly modern Neptune™ makes a statement in mixed garden beds. Add an odd-numbered series of them as an anchor to play the starring role in your patio plantings, or in an island bed in the front lawn. Pair with other blue and lavender flowers for continuity or pair this subtle lavender blushed hue with buttery yellows, blush pinks, and light blues. Plants with silver and white variegated foliage seem to make these blooms pop!
Edge the sunny side of a Privet or Evergreen hedge with a long row of Neptune™ Roses. Just plant them at least six feet away from the hedge to give yourself plenty of room to trim! For a sleek look that can read as either modern or rustic, keep Roses in galvanized steel troughs. Replace your tired foundation planting with these hardy containers for a dynamic look you can play with each season!
Use Neptune™ to decorate the edge of an outdoor Yoga Studio and savor the fresh scent during your flows. Add a hammock chair or two nearby for a blissful destination spot with a beautiful focal point that attracts butterflies and bees!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Select your planting site with care for the best result. Roses need at least six hours of direct sunlight a day, well-drained soil and good air circulation to perform at their best. Give Neptune™ plenty of sunlight and well-drained soil for the best performance! Don't forget the Nature Hills Root Booster, to give this fragrant Rose life-long support when used during planting. This symbiotic formula enhances your landscape assets their entire life. Use mulch over the root system, but pull it back away from touching the canes. Growing Hybrid Tea Roses in zones colder than zone 7 should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall after the frost killed the leaves for best overwintering.
In early spring, remove several of the thickest, oldest canes at ground level to maintain health and vigor. Read all you need about pruning Roses Here, and about winterizing your Roses Here and un-wintering Roses in Spring in our #ProPlantTips Garden Blog!
