Reblooming, RED red Rose with a hardy nature, the flushes of wine red semi-double blooms on the Navy Lady Rose bush (Rosa 'AC Navy Lady') are satiny and shine in the sun! Dedicated to the thousands of Canadian women who served in the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service, the Navy Lady Shrub Rose was chosen by the Wren Association (Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service) to honor their service.

This hardy Shrub Rose begins its show in early summer with bright red Roses against dark green foliage that fills out the upright form and rounded nature. The large, semi-double Roses repeat their bloom sporadically throughout the season, transitioning to a darker red later in the summer. As if classic beauty wasn't enough, your Navy Lady even emits a light fragrance for an additional enchanting flair!

Like its Canadian brethren, Navy Lady is grown on its own root, so even if winter's chill kills it back to the ground, it sprouts from the roots and quickly regrows true-to-form each growing season. It is a cold-tolerant and extremely disease-resistant Landscape Shrub Rose. Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9, and only growing 2-3 feet tall, Navy Lady will spread to a rounded 2-3 feet in width.

Planting and Application:

Your Navy Lady Rose is an easy way to possess the beauty and elegance of velvety, red Roses for your own home throughout the summer, and have plenty to snip and bring indoors for romantic and meaningful bouquets that exude dedication and true love! Plant in large containers for a lovely focal point on sunny porches and patios, or in the ground as an edging and facer plant! The deep-colored blooms will set off an evergreen hedge or foundation planting nicely!

Plant one in your Cottage garden, or use one of these blood-red blooms as an accent to your perennial border! Anywhere you plant a Navy Lady Rose is sure to inspire awe with its brilliant red color and long-blooming nature. Commemorate a new beginning or mark a milestone, and celebrate a military family member with this gorgeous red bloom for a lasting memory!

  • Satiny Red Roses Emerge Darker Wine-Red Later In Summer!
  • Reblooming Until Fall
  • Hardy Rounded Shrub Rose
  • Deep Green Foliage
  • Very Easy Care & Space-Saving Size
  • Low Edging, Hedges, Containers & Garden Specimens!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Navy Lady is disease resistant, cold-tolerant and generally easy to care for when planted in optimal conditions. Preferring full sun and morning sunlight to dry the leaves of dew, plant this Shrub Rose in a location with good air circulation and in enriched, well-drained soil. Roses appreciate a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist mulch and regular watering all growing season long. Prune in early spring to keep her fresh and bushy!
