To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Make taste buds sing! If you asked us to name one of Garlic's most popular varieties, we'd have to go with the Musik Porcelain Garlic (Allium sativum 'Musik'). One taste and you'll know why! The slender, hollow green foliage has a pretty texture in the garden and if you let this beautiful Allium go to flower, you'll enjoy delightful purplish-pink flowers in joyous umbels.
Porcelain Garlic produces large cloves that have a medium spiciness, with a rich musky flavor. The bulbs are smooth and tightly wrapped, usually white or cream-colored - like porcelain! While you may only get a small number of cloves per bulb, typically 4 to 5, they are quite plump and easy to peel.
A fantastic storing and popular variety, you'll enjoy your harvest in about 290 days! Fantastic in cooler climates, the bulbs form 4-5 cloves each and grow best in cooler climates, but are hardy throughout USDA planting zones 3 through 9!

Musik Porcelain Garlic is a Hardneck Garlic variety that's perfect for any beginner! They're easy to grow and known for long storage and easy cleaning! Large or small sunny plots are best, but some have success in deep containers.

Suitable in most climates, except extremely warm areas, Porcelain Garlic is a great choice for northern growers as they are very cold hardy! These Garlic bulbs are naturally grown on Amish farmland in central Ohio and Eastern Illinois and should produce an excellent harvest for you! Plant in a sunny location in rich, well-drained soil. Water in well and provide moderate to low moisture as needed throughout the growing season.
In most cooler climates, Hardneck Garlic should be planted in the fall and harvested in early summer when the tops turn yellow. However, in warmer climates, many times Garlic can be planted in the spring. You can also grow 'Green Garlic' that is spring planted and used more like green onions which are very versatile and excellent in cooking as well!
Divide the bulbs into separate cloves (called bulbils) and plant individually with a small portion of the bulb poking above the soil, root side down. Space cloves 2 to 4 inches apart in rows 6 inches apart. Harvest when tops start to dry, clean, and store in a cool, dry location with plenty of air circulation.
