#ProPlantTips for Care:
Meadowsweet handles full sun, partial shade, and afternoon shade locations as long as they are well-drained with higher moisture availability. But can also be drought tolerant once established, and only need help in extended periods of dry heat. However, they do best in moist soil, as long as it doesn't become stagnant.
Provide a 3-4 inch layer of mulch to hold moisture in better and enrich the soil. Prune in the late winter to early spring and renewal prune every 3-5 years to maintain the flowering vigor of these deciduous shrubs.
- Full Sun to Part Shade
- High to Average Moisture
- Prune in Winter & Deadhead for Repeat Blooms
- Drought Tolerant Native Once Established
- Deer Resistant & No Serious Pest or Disease Problems
