Description
Gorgeous heavily ruffled petals, the luscious hues of the Mango Muse Gladiolus (Gladiolus x hortulanus 'Mango Muse') is a peachy vision with a showy splash of yellow on the lower petals! Creating a dreamy display on upright waving wands! Blooming all summer from the bottom up, providing you with weeks of romantic color!
Mango Muse Gladiolus, also known as Gladiolia and Sword Lilies, have vertical green sword-like foliage fringing the vertical flowers, forming tight clusters just 6-8 inches wide. The blooms, however, can reach an impressive 36-48 in height each summer!
These summer-flowering bulbs, better known as corms, are reliable perennials but need to be lifted in the fall in colder growing zones. Gladiola corms can grow as seasonal or annual accents in all USDA planting zones. However, gardeners in USDA planting zones 8 to 10 can use these plants in the ground all year round as perennial accents!
Landscape Application:
The long-lasting bloom time and enormous flowers are show-stoppers on their own, but once open, loads of bees and butterflies will arrive in your garden! Giving ample nectar for pollinators, and plenty of strong stems for your fresh-cut flower bouquets!
You can plant Mango Muse Gladiolus with pink, yellow, and peachy/apricot blooms and foliage plants for a cohesive garden display, or contrast them with dark foliage and bold purples, deep red, and blue blooms! This ornamental Glad is a must-have for the perennial garden, summer bulb border, and romantically inclined Cottage gardens!
You don't need a large property to enjoy these incredible blooms because these space-saving bulbs add tall thrillers and showy focal points among your container gardens, front porch urns, and patio mixed planters in the sun! Apartment growers can use these tall spires as seasonal screening and accents!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Gladiolus flowers best in full sun in cooler growing zones but appreciates afternoon shade in hot climates. Any well-drained soil environment works great and these corms grow best when their soil isn't soggy and highly organic. These bulbs do appreciate moderate yet regular moisture access.
Plant these corms, which are round bulb-like structures, in the spring. Plant them about 6-8 inches deep. Groupings and rows have the biggest effect and impact on your garden, so plant your corms pointy side up about 5-6 inches apart.
Stake your flower wands unless you plant your Glads in a location protected from the wind. Deadhead the flowering spire as soon as the last flower fades but keep the greenery to make food for the bulb until they turn yellow.
Gladiola corms can grow as seasonal or annual accents in all USDA planting zones. However, gardeners in zones 8 to 10 can use these plants in the ground all year round as perennial accents! In zones 1 through 7, lift your corms as you would Canna or Dahlias, and store them for the winter in a cool, dry location.
