If you love spending time entertaining with family and friends outside, you've got to get at least one Livin' Easy™ Rose Tree (Rosa 'HARwelcome') to dress up your pool and seating areas! The flouncy, warm, blended apricot-orange-pink-yellow double blooms fill out this rounded shrub expertly grafted and held up high atop a strong, straight 2-3 foot tall standard trunk! You'll love the compliments, and will be so pleased with how easy this pretty selection is to grow!

Livin' Easy™ is a perfect name for the clusters of large, ruffled warm-tone Roses that feature up to 30 petals each! The citrusy apricot orange color that blushes pink brings a tropical look to your landscape from late spring all the way through fall in successive, reblooming waves! Because this is a tree-form Floribunda Rose, you'll get a chance to not only truly study the clusters of long, pointed buds as they open into double, ruffled Roses, but also snip several clusters for opulent cut flower arrangements! Do this regularly and you'll encourage faster reblooming from late spring through fall!

It's not just the vivid Roses you'll fall in love with - the bright, glossy green foliage will also win your heart with its excellent disease resistance and consistent performance in all climates throughout USDA growing zones 6 to 10! The combined effect adds to the appeal of this All-American Rose Selection winner! The 3-4 foot tall and 2-4 foot wide head stands boldly atop its standard trunk for a fantastic 5-7 foot high spectacle that shines in the sun! Sometimes reaching up to 8 feet in sunset hues and fluttering leaves!

Planting and Application:

Livin' Easy™ Floribunda shows off big time in the sun garden! Use a single tree in a modern, offset planting bed near your front door. Or, try a sentry pair flanking either side of your front steps for a more formal presentation. You will enjoy the neighborhood clout and juicy burst of curb appeal they bring! Pair with the equally fantastic shrub form of these Roses and get ready to cause a stir!

Use these showy tree-form Roses near mature evergreen trees for a refreshing burst of color all season long. They look amazing in a long and skinny raised planting bed on the sunny side of your hedges and break up the solid wall of greenery. And a single specimen will punctuate a border garden, anchor your foundation, or become the crown jewel by a garden bench at the end of a destination path!

Enjoy the large, rounded, bushy canopy in oversized patio pots anywhere you need a blast of sunny, carefree color. You'll have instant designer style with a series of matching containers spaced evenly all along your balcony railing or pool deck. Place one on either side of your outdoor garden sofa. You'll draw eyes to this feature, and give your guests a conversation starter, too!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Look for the right planting site for Tree-form Roses and you'll be pleased with their performance! Plant them in a location in full sun with at least six hours of sunlight, enriched well-drained soil, and adequate air circulation. If the weather stays dry, give supplemental water on a regular basis, plus 3-4 inches of arborist mulch chips, especially on container-grown plants. Use a high-quality Rose fertilizer according to the label directions for these repeat bloomers.

Rose Tree Care & Pruning

Some winter protection for Tree Form Roses is suggested for the cooler zones by overwintering your Rose in an unheated garage after it goes dormant, or outside with a straw and burlap wrap. Then in spring, take it back out or unwrap it and trim the head back to about a 2-3 foot sphere just as it begins to grow again in spring.

Early each spring, after the last frost of the year has passed, it's always a good idea to prune back the Rose tree several inches to maintain the nice round form atop its trunk. Keep new blooms returning with occasional deadheading, quickly improving your overall display.
Prune away suckers and branching that forms at the base or on the trunk each year too. Pruning Roses allow for better, bushier growth each year and stimulates new growth. For more about pruning Roses, winterizing Roses, and un-wintering Roses in spring in our #ProPlantTips Garden Blog!
