Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

The Lilac Maiden's Blush Lilac (Syringa X hyacinthiflora 'Maiden's Blush') is an early flowering, single-petalled variety of Lilac that ranges from light pink to medium-pink, to lavender-pink flowers. With a tendency to display many shades of pink to purple depending upon the age of the bloom!
This rounded, deciduous shrub has dark-green foliage that makes a lovely contrast against the light blooms. The heart-shaped leaves look lively and are the first to emerge in spring. Reddish flower buds burst out early and are amazingly fragrant, this Lilac delights you every year!
Maiden's Blush is one of the first lilacs to bloom and bloom it does! Prolific flowers burst onto the scene each spring, several days sooner than traditional Lilacs. It's no wonder this Lilac won the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. It is a good choice for attracting pollinators without attracting deer!

Prune Lilacs immediately after flowering and renewal prune by removing the fattest stems out to the ground leaving the thinner stems in place if the plants get too large.
