To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Fanciful papery and delightfully fragrant, Large Paperwhite Narcissus (Narcissus papyraceus) are large-flowering spring ephemerals with delightful miniature all-white blooms reminiscent of Daffodils and Jonquils. The bright white color and heavy fragrance add cheer to the dull winter and complete your spring garden beds!
These graceful trumpet-headed flowers aren't the prima donnas you'd expect and are easy to grow as either a stunning garden addition or forced winter blossom! You'll not only have some of the prettiest flowers you can grow but also the unforgettable scent that fills your home and garden!
Paperwhites can grow outdoors in USDA growing zones 8-10, or be used as seasonal annual bulbs in your spring pots and planters outdoors and indoors alike! The strappy upright green foliage grows 12-18 inches in height, forming polite bunches. In frost-free growing zones, these fall-planted bulbs will return year after year while expanding politely in clump size!
Planting and Application:
Plant Paperwhites indoors and force your bulbs for winter fragrance and color in a bright, indirect sunlit location. Display in a tall cloche or grouped in a low urn of moss, or in a special vase made especially for forcing winter bulbs. They look lovely dressed down in terra cotta or dressed up in a sleek glass minimalist vase.
Paperwhites are lovely on their own in groupings and bunches, both in the ground (in warm climates) and in containers outdoors as perennial color or seasonal annual accents, looking beautiful in small-space container gardens in the sun. Snip a few stems for your indoor vases and bouquets or leave them outdoors for your pollinators to enjoy! #ProPlantTips for Care:
Paperwhite Bulbs require full sun outdoors, or bright indirect sunlight indoors. Plant in well-drained soil to do their best, and any soil type is suitable so long as it is not soggy. Add bulb fertilizer to each hole for best results and provide moderate moisture during drought. Deadhead after flowers fade but keep the leaves so they can make food for the bulb and next year's flowers! Its blooms endure through spring showers and days of sunshine.
For those growing these as forced bulbs, you can plant them outside so the leaves can continue to grow all season, then let them go dormant and bring them indoors for the winter as you would Canna or Dahlia to await the next growing season!
