The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Bare Root Plants
Bare root plants are sold by height from the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may exceed minimum height requirements.

- Shrubs & Perennials: 1 foot, 18 inches, 2 feet

Fast-Growing Lobelia with Prolific Blooms
This fast-growing Lobelia offers a prolific bloom on fine, green foliage…and maintains its colorful appeal from spring through fall. Laguna White features delicate texture with white, 3-lobed tubular flowers on the ends of trailing stems. The vibrant green of the stems and foliage are a lively backdrop for the blooms that attract butterflies and other pollinators, as well as provide an enduring show of floral beauty for your yard. Whether you choose to display your Laguna White suspended from your front porch or allow it to trail over your rock garden, it’s certain to provide a scintillating, long-blooming show.
Your Laguna White Lobelia is an herbaceous, flowering plant that will grow up to 10 inches in height with a similar spread. It has a mounded, cascading nature. It doesn’t require any special care, but you can sheer it back if you’d like a more manicured appearance. Laguna White is a perennial (zones 9-11), but often grown as an annual (in zones 3-8). It does wonderfully as a stand-alone specimen, but really shines when used in planters or hanging baskets.
This newer type of Lobelia is in the Proven Winners series and is certainly “proven” to be an ideal plant for many homes. It’s more heat tolerant than other varieties, grows quickly, blooms prolifically and is carefree. What more could you ask for in a long-blooming, show-stopper for your yard this summer!
