This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.
- Popular sizes of select trees are 1 foot, 2 feet, 3 feet, etc.
- Popular sizes of select bare root plants is 1 foot, 18 inches, etc.

Large-scale, mid-season bloomer Kanjiro Camellia (Camellia sasanqua 'Kanjiro') makes an impeccable backdrop or privacy screen in your landscape. You'll adore the formal look of the fragrant, cherry-pink Camellia blooms and rich, dark green, evergreen foliage.
A go-to choice for professional designers, vigorous Kanjiro is remarkably versatile in the landscape. Put it to work in your front or backyard...or use it to decorate a woodland with an incredible display of showy, cerise-pink blooms.
Planting and Application:
Study the semi-double blooms closely and enjoy their mild fragrance. Each one is a work of art with petals edged in red and growing paler near the center boss of bold, golden stamens.
- Set the stage for contemplation in a Zen Garden with this flowering broad-leaved evergreen. Allow the flowers to shine in late fall and early winter; and the glossy, toothed leaves will play a lustrous supporting role for you year-round.
- Why not treat yourself to a Garden Room? Make the most of your property with flowering "wallpaper" of a Camellia sasanqua Kanjiro spaced eight feet apart on center (measured from the middle of one to the middle of the next).
- Use one as a room divider in a small yard. With it's upright, dense habit, a mature Kanjiro makes an elegant separation between two distinct outdoor living spaces.
- You can even grow dark pink Kanjiro blooms in oversized patio pots for many years. Keep them on rolling plant caddies to easily show them off in a prime spot during their flowering season.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Care for Kanjiro Camellia starts with a planting site that receives at least four hours of sunlight a day. This plant resents standing water, so mound up if your soil isn't well-drained.
- Support these landscape assets with symbiotic Nature Hills Root Booster formula used in the planting hole. Finally, apply a layer of pine bark mulch over the top of the root system, but never directly touching the stems.
- Apply supplemental water the first season and during longer periods of dry weather. Once the roots are established, it will be rugged and able to withstand short dry spells.
- Prune in early spring to shape and to remove any damaged branches; cutting at a 45-degree angle. Fertilize Camellias with a flowering Acid Lovers formula in early spring, following directions on the label.
