Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 3-8
The Andorra Juniper Bush (Juniper horizontalis 'Plumosa') is a dense, compact, flat-spreading Juniper with a bright gray-green color, becoming plum-colored in the fall. Andorra is one of the most common landscape Junipers available!
Plumosa has a handsome, tightly branched form that creates a groundcover that is versatile, easy to grow, and provides year-round unique color. Featuring a nice, soft foliage texture and touselled low-growing branching habit that trails when given the chance.
You'll love the light purple cast for the fall and winter months, enhanced by blue-green berry-like cones. Like its native Creeping Juniper parentage, these hardy evergreen shrubs grow throughout USDA planting zones 3 to 8 and spread a tidy 4-5 feet in width and only 1-2 feet tall.
Landscape Application:
It can also be used for erosion control, in planters, or mass plantings. Use in groupings for groundcover and filling in bare areas between plants, blocking weeds. Andorra shines as transition plants to use as edging or in the front of a landscaping bed's borders.
Use Andorra in rock gardens and as a foundation for planting facer plants. Ideal as year-round spillers in a container, or spilling over the tops of a retaining wall. The evergreen leaves bring color planted along a walkway or as foundation planting It can also be used for Bonsai!
Add Andorra as a low component to a mixed shrub border, creating a patchwork of greenery when combined with other Junipers like Compact Andorra, or Juniper trees and evergreen and broadleaf evergreen shrubs.
- Grey Green Evergreen Foliage
- Foliage Turns Plum Colored in Autumn
- Dense, Compact, Flat Form
- Great In Containers & As Bonsai
- Groundcover, Erosion Control, Edging & Low Hedging Plants
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Andorra Junipers tolerate exposed sites and a wide range of soils. Plant in any kind of well-drained soil in full sun. Provide regular moisture their first year in the ground, but once established, Junipers become drought tolerant. Provide a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch around the roots to hold in moisture and enrich the soil. Handling mild saline conditions and urban pollution, these shrubs even shrug off deer unless they are desperate! Prune in the spring if needed, nipping wayward branches back.
- Full Sun Shrubs
- Any Well-Drained Soil - Tolerates Clay & Saline
- Moderate to Low Moisture
- Prune In Spring
