Hardy and adaptable, you'll find this Florbunda shines in the full sun, favoring the drying power of morning sunlight. Very disease-resistant, you'll have little worry once this plant has established itself in your garden when given optimal conditions. Water moderately, yet consistently throughout the year for best results, and give your root system a thick layer of mulch to insulate them from heat and cold, while also regulating soil moisture. Add a few doses of quality Rose fertilizer, plus 3-4 inches of arborist mulch chips, and you'll have a healthy, happy Rose tree! Fertilizing three times a year, preferably early spring, during the first bloom, and late summer. Roses appreciate a protected location with good air circulation.

Rose Tree Care & Pruning

Some winter protection for Tree Form Roses is suggested for the colder zones 5 and 6 and some of zone 7 too by overwintering in an unheated garage after it goes dormant, or outside with straw and burlap wrap. Then in spring, take it back out or unwrap it and trim the head back to about a 12" sphere just as it begins to grow again in spring.

Early each spring, after the last frost of the year has passed, it's always a good idea to prune back the Rose tree several inches to maintain the nice round form atop its trunk. Keep new blooms returning with occasional deadheading, quickly improving your overall display.
