Named after the popular French cuisine chef and one of the first women to host her own cooking show - this beaming yellow Rose was chosen by her personally to carry on her legacy for years to come! Her namesake Julia Child™ Floribunda Rose Tree (Rosa 'WEKvossutono') simply elevates her to a grander scale!

Large and ruffled, buttery-yellow blooms with a delicious licorice scent, appear from June until September on this enticing Rose tree. Supported on a strong, 2-3 foot tall Rose standard trunk, the lush high-gloss green foliage is the perfect backdrop for the sunny blossoms. The high-gloss, green leaves present a vibrant appearance even when not in full bloom. Overall, it's a remarkable, high-performing tree Rose that brings three seasons of blossoms to the landscape.

This recurrently blooming yellow Floribunda Rose tree is self-cleaning in nature and embodies modern disease resistance! This makes it a hardy and low-maintenance tree, so you won't have to fuss much with it. Thriving throughout USDA hardiness zones 6 to 10, this expertly grafted tree-form Rose takes the beauty of the Julia Child™ Rose bush to eye level!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Hardy and adaptable, you'll find this Florbunda shines in the full sun, favoring the drying power of morning sunlight. Very disease-resistant, you'll have little worry once this plant has established itself in your garden when given optimal conditions. Water moderately, yet consistently throughout the year for best results, and give your root system a thick layer of mulch to insulate them from heat and cold, while also regulating soil moisture. Add a few doses of quality Rose fertilizer, plus 3-4 inches of arborist mulch chips, and you'll have a healthy, happy Rose tree! Fertilizing three times a year, preferably early spring, during the first bloom, and late summer. Roses appreciate a protected location with good air circulation.

Rose Tree Care & Pruning

Some winter protection for Tree Form Roses is suggested for the colder zones 5 and 6 and some of zone 7 too by overwintering in an unheated garage after it goes dormant, or outside with straw and burlap wrap. Then in spring, take it back out or unwrap it and trim the head back to about a 12" sphere just as it begins to grow again in spring.

Early each spring, after the last frost of the year has passed, it's always a good idea to prune back the Rose tree several inches to maintain the nice round form atop its trunk. Keep new blooms returning with occasional deadheading, quickly improving your overall display.

Prune away suckers and branching that forms at the base or on the trunk each year too. Pruning Roses allow for better, bushier growth each year and stimulates new growth. The Julia Child™ Rose Tree is remarkably easy to care for and even self-cleaning, so no need for messy deadheading.
