Pollinators and Hummingbirds will quickly follow! In some growing zones even the songbirds will feast on the black berries that form later in the summer or fall!

Shooting up to 15-30 feet in a blink of an eye, while only spreading 3-6 feet wide. Hall's Japanese Honeysuckle is super easy to grow and adapts to almost any soil. Full sun brings out the most flowers but full shade and partial shade work great when all you need is an adaptable landscape filler! Any well-drained moist-to-average location with a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch and compost keeps your Vines roots happy. Once established though, this Honeysuckle can be drought-tolerant!

Highly conducive to pruning in the early spring, you can also prune after flowering if your plant is getting into where it shouldn't. This Honeysuckle can be hard pruned or even be mown over in winter if it gets too thick and will come back in the spring like nothing happened. Otherwise a renewal pruning every 3-5 years works great too!
