This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Cold hardy Lacecap, the Invincibelle Lace® Smooth Hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens subsp. radiata 'SMNHRLL') is a subtle pink bloom that has a flat umbel of plum-rose pink buds that burst open into pinkish-white blossoms from the outside in, giving them a lacy effect all over your shrub!
The dark green pointed and toothy foliage has reddish stems for a wonderful depth of two-tone color! The handsome leaves are picturesque and dense with the classic Hydrangea quilted texture for a standout landscape addition! Pollinators will be drawn to your shrub while it's in bloom, and Hydrangea Sphinx Moths use these bushes as host plants for their caterpillars.
Invincibelle Smooth Hydrangeas, like other varieties of wild Hydrangea are cold-hardy natives to the US growing zones 3-8 and can reach a decent 4-5 foot height and width without pruning and training. Naturally rounded and dense, they are fantastic anchors, accents, hedges and backdrops for all garden applications.
Planting and Application:
A graceful shrub that’s an elegant specimen and focal point. Anchor foundation plantings and garden beds with these elegant bushes. Tall and dense enough for low privacy and screening while providing a season-long green backdrop for smaller shrubs and perennials. Plant in your Cottage and mixed-shrub borders and along the out-of-the-way areas of your property to create woodland informal plantings in the dappled shade of larger trees.
Lacecap Hydrangeas feature a long-bloom time with no need to deadhead. Plant anywhere you need a consistent pop of soothing color and a place for pollinators to refuel. Add to cutting gardens for floral bouquets and dried décor. These can be pruned smaller as fine texture in large planters.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Smooth Hydrangea bushes bloom on new wood, so prune in the late winter or very early in the spring before they begin to grow. Plant in a well-drained and highly organically enriched soil that remains consistently moist. So use a thick layer of mulch for moisture and insulation.
