Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 5-9
The big round and hot pink blooms of the Abracadabra® Orb Hydrangea PP#21,635 (Hydrangea macrophylla ABRACADADRA 'HorOrb') will certainly add an unusual and charming look to your landscape! The flowers first emerge green and peach then mature to hot pink but can be lavender to bluer in acidic conditions.
These hot pink blossoms stand out on the showy black satin stems! The stems and quilted green leaves are very unique sights even without the blooms and look fantastic when included with the flowers in a bouquet! You only need a few of the large round and showy blossoms to create a grand floral arrangement!
Backed by hardy green leaves that are quilted and have a textured toothy edge, these deciduous flowering shrubs grow throughout USDA planting zones 5-9. Orb Hydrangea is pink in alkaline conditions, but if you want a blue flower color you need to add aluminum sulfate to the soil, which can take some time to change.
Planting and Application:
Abracadabra® Orbs' unique round mophead flowers will provide an excellent summer color to your landscape! Use this plant for cutting garden flowers, in borders, containers, or mass plantings! Dress up a mailbox or your front door with bright blossoms, or go further and pot up these in containers and planters for both front and back yard decorating, even if you don't have a yard!
Vivid color and small size, the 2-3 foot tall and wide rounded shrubs are perfect for tucking into existing landscapes and using as facer shrubs along the perimeter of larger, leggier shrubs and skirting trees! Use in rows along foundation plantings or as low property division that really boosts curb appeal and catches the eye!
Use this Bigleaf Hydrangea to wake up a tired Cottage garden or accent Roses and perennials! These smaller shrubs are perfect to use in mixed shrub borders and as vivid anchors in formal and informal landscaping beds.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Hydrangea care is simple and easy! You'll look like a gardening pro! Bigleaf Hydrangea thrives in the shady corner of your yard that only gets light a few hours a day. Perfect! This Hydrangea will love this spot! They thrive in partly shaded locations, and morning sun locations with afternoon shade. It is best to fertilize this Hydrangea in early spring with the recommended rate of slow-release fertilizer. Keep regularly watered and apply a thick layer of mulch over the roots to keep them cool and moist.
Blooming on old wood from summer through fall, Abracadabra® Orb Hydrangea usually requires no pruning but may be trimmed after flowering. Many Bigleaf Hydrangeas also bloom on new wood, so it is recommended you only prune in the early spring to trim back any stems that died over the winter. Deadhead immediately after the flowers fade to ensure prolific flowering year after year. This will preserve their somewhat pristine but always attractive habit.
