Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.
Standard Shipping Rates
At Nature Hills we handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the tables below. Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

Need a garden that can go from zero to 100? Hit the brakes and check out the racing stripes on the Stoplight Foamy Bells PP#16,835 (xHeucherella 'Stoplight')! Stoplight will cause you to stop momentarily to admire its colorful beauty in your landscape! The radiant lime green leaves have a large dark red blotch in the center which feathers out through the veins!
This is a unique hybrid between Coral Bells and Foam Flowers, and an improved version of Sunspot Heucherella, resulting in the cross of two hardy stalwarts of the shade garden. Like its two parents, it's all about the dramatic foliage with Heucherella!
Attractive spires of white flowers appear in late spring through early summer and attract a host of butterflies to drop by for a visit. The white bottlebrush blooms rise high over the colorful foliage on slender stems and are long-lasting. Snip a few for delicate bouquet additions and bring the beauty indoors with a few of those dramatic leaves as a contrast.
Planting and Application:
Stop traffic by planting drifts of Stoplight Foamy Bells along your foundation's evergreen hedges and running en masse throughout your shaded woodlands. Stoplight is attractive to hummingbirds and rarely troubled by deer, so go ahead and plant in large clusters to really show off the dramatic color contrast!
Stoplight is a fairly compact plant and works well as a clump-forming groundcover, landscape bed filler, creeping edging, and facer plant, and wonderful rambler among other shade garden plants in understory!
They are a mainstay of vibrant shaded patios and really show their stuff in decorative pots. Beloved because they are so easy to grow and their large, colorful leaves are far longer-lasting than any flowers throughout the Rock Garden, Perennial border, and Cottage garden, even remaining evergreen in warmer climate winters!
- Vibrant Two-Tone Lime-Green & Red Streaked Foliage
- Long-Lasting Dainty Bell-Shaped White Blossoms in Spring
- Vigorous Grower & Polite Spreader
- Mounding Clumps Can Be Evergreen In Mild Winters
- Dramatic Color, Specimens, Accents, Containers & Groundcover
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Shining brightly in both partial and full shade, Foamy Bells retain their color and bloom for many weeks! Handling humidity and heat, as well as cold winters, these Perennial plants are low maintenance. Stoplight Heucherella perennials make themselves right at home in moist but well-drained, organic-enriched soils.
A good 3-4 inch deep layer of arborist mulch at the base of your plants, to help retain moisture, especially in areas exposed to direct sunlight. Prune in the very early spring to clear away old foliage and freshen up the mounds. You can deadhead the flowers as soon as they fade to tidy up the mounds. Deer, pests, and diseases even seem to skip over these hardy little wonders!
- Easy Care & Low Maintenance
- Full Shade & Part Shade
- Any Well-Drained Soil Type
- Loves Consistent Moisture, Organic Matter & Mulched Beds
- Disease, Pest & Deer Resistant!
Hit the brakes and plant the Stoplight Foamy Bells in your landscape today and get yours delivered to your doorstep from Nature Hills Nursery!
