This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Long-lived Oak trees become an enduring legacy for future generations. But what if you need shade now? The Heritage® Oak Tree (Quercus x macdanielii 'Clemons') is a natural hybrid cross of English Oak and native Bur Oak! It's hardy, healthy, and grows faster than most Oaks!
The broad, pyramidal shape stands alone, but can also be grouped with other trees to recreate an Oak savannah in larger landscapes. Heritage® features magnificent leathery, dark-green leaves with a silvery underside.
Mildew-resistant foliage of the Heritage® Oak leaves rarely tatters in windy locations. You'll enjoy the sight of lovely leaves all season long! Bringing together the best of both of its parents, Heritage® Oak showcases the performance of modern cultivars. With its beautifully balanced canopy and excellent foliage, Heritage® Oak is a tree to be proud of.
As the nights grow cooler, they'll develop handsome, glowing golden tones for a luxuriant autumn color display. Heritage® Oak is an elegant tree that you'll appreciate every year. Heritage® is also surprisingly versatile for a large tree. As the tree matures, it will support wildlife with a large acorn mast!
Landscape Application:
Please allow enough room for the tree to grow into its mature height and width. You won't want to miss out on their well-placed branches that spread wide. You'll love the vigor and formal form of the Heritage®. It can easily anchor your landscape design as an outstanding specimen shade tree.
Situate this tree singly as a specimen. The attractive, uniform branching makes it a perfect candidate for a focal point in a formal garden. Vary the spacing between plants for a natural look. Add them with a mix of other Oaks, Beech, disease-resistant Elms, Maples, and evergreens.
This stunning Oak tree casts a generous amount of shade. Add value to your property with one planted on the south or southwest aspect. In a large property, they can be grouped to create a park-like setting. These trees can be given 50 feet from their nearest neighbor, measuring from the trunk of one to the trunk of the next.
In a wildlife area, Heritage® Oak will deliver acorns after reaching maturity. They become an important member of a productive Food Forest.
Property owners should take a good look at this healthy variety. Add several of them to create a shady area for lunch.
Place designer outdoor benches and plan a curved walking trail. You'll easily impress prospective tenants with their lustrous foliage and athletic, architectural charm.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant your Oak where it will receive full sun. Heritage® Oak requires at least six hours of sunlight to thrive. Although adaptable to many soil types, they must drain well. Although Oaks typically prefer slightly acidic soil, Heritage® is a good choice for soils that have slightly more elevated pH soils.
For the best performance, we recommend the use of our proven Nature Hills Root Booster formula while planting. Ingredients, including the effective mycorrhizal fungus, support tiny feeder roots to access water and micronutrients over the life of your tree.
Your tree will need supplemental water for best results. Give it a careful schedule of water during the first year, and thereafter during dry weather. Keep them happy with a three-inch layer of pine bark or pine straw mulch over the root system. Pull mulch back from the trunk at least six inches. Provide an annual fertilizer designed for acid-loving trees, following directions on the label.
Prune any broken branches in late winter. Don't start without a judicious pruning plan, as you'd hate to disrupt their excellent form.
