To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Bare root plants are sold by height from the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may exceed minimum height requirements.

Featuring Cornflower blue blossoms like little stars adorn this spreading creeping mound of grey-green foliage that are short and narrow leaves, but densely compact and full!
The blooms look like Borage while the foliage looks like Lavender and these creepers look fantastic in any sunny spring landscape as a groundcover that keeps on giving! Blooming all spring until summer, the foliage looks fantastic all growing season with minimal care and maintenance, even remaining green throughout the winters in mild climates.
Heavenly Blue has low water needs making it a lovely Xeric plant and tolerates sun very well! The blooms attract butterflies and other pollinators in search of nectar, but not hungry deer looking for a snack as well.
Planting and Application:
Fantastic Rock garden plants and as edging to ease the transition between garden bed and lawn, this low growing and low-maintenance ground cover can even handle some foot traffic! So plant it between paving stones, along a driveway or road, or along a walkway without too much worry! Let creep along as groundcover throughout perennial and cottage gardens, filling in the gaps and covering the bare ground with beauty!
Heavenly Blue Lithodora looks wonderful spilling over garden edges and rock walls, even softening the tops of retaining walls, so you can imagine how it will look as a spiller in containers and planters too! Lithodora does well in full sun and needs very well-drained, acidic soil in order to thrive. In fact, it is a death sentence to be in anything else. Prune lightly after the flowers finish in late summer to keep it growing compact and mat-like.
