To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

OK plant lovers, we are here answer a burning question for you. We know that you have seen this plant around, if not in your neighborhood then in the landscaping around a local business. You've probably heard it called 'Heavenly Bamboo' because its leaves and stems are so very bamboo-like. But the question is often "Is it really bamboo?"
Nature Hills has the definitive answer for you!
And the answer is....
NO! It's not. It is actually in the barberry family! (We hope that you can sleep better at night, now that you've got that answered.)
So, even though it isn't true bamboo, it is still a beautiful and very useful landscape plant, especially in those areas that need some texture and color. The problem is most nandina's can get pretty large. The current trend toward smaller plants for smaller gardens doesn't leave room for some of these big plants. But Harbor Dwarf Nandina (Nandina domestica 'Harbor Dwarf') is perfectly sized for modern gardens. It adds a shot of bright red to sunny borders or shady beds alike. (It can even handle full shade, but won't color up as much as in the sun.)
This semi-evergreen is a true 'plant it and forget it' shrub. It doesn't need pruning or coddling to keep it looking great. It fits into any garden style from modern to cottage to rustic. It is great around architectural features, under windows or around ponds as it accents but stays low enough to not cover or block views.
