This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

Growing Zones
Early mid-season powdery light blue fruit, the Hannah's Choice Highbush Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Hannah's Choice') is a gorgeous fruiting shrub on its own, but with the addition of pretty white blooms, luscious fruit, and reddish-orange to purple fall color! The tall upright growth and cold hardiness are bonus perks that go with this easy-to-grow edible landscaping darling!
Spring brings delightful little pink-tinged white flowers that the native bees and bumblebees go nuts for! Nestled among the lush green foliage, these shrubs can grow 4-5 feet in height and width. Hannah's Choice Blueberry is a mid-season producer of excellent firm, and fine-flavored fruit, with mature shrubs producing 8 to 15 pounds per plant!
Mostly self-fertile, Hannah's Choice will help you make friends with your neighbors by sharing these tasty berries! And don't worry, there will be plenty left over for your pies and jam. Luckily, if you don't feel like sharing, you can store these long-lasting berries since they stay fresh for so long.
Planting and Application:
Hannah's Choice looks great as a backdrop or hedge plant! Use these dual-purpose shrubs for all their perks beyond the usual fruiting element! The spring blossoms and fall color mean you can dress up your sunny foundation hedge with edible fruit, or line a sunny pathway with treats, or encircle a backyard seating area with snacks while you entertain or read!
These self-fertile and easy-to-grow Highbush Blueberry bushes won't need another plant, so a single container on a sunny porch will work great, but for maximum pollination and harvests, plant with another Hannah's Choice or another Highbush Blueberry. Extend your harvest season by planting a late-season Blueberry like Jersey, Legacy, or Liberty for a long season of delicious Blueberries! Check with your local County Extension Office for which will do best in your USDA plant hardiness zones between 5 and 9!

#ProPlantTips for Care
Plant your Highbush Blueberry in either full sun for the most fruit. Blueberries need well-drained soil that is acidic and highly organic. Ensure your site drains quickly after a rainfall. Raise the bed or plant in containers if you need to improve your drainage. In early spring, fertilize with a formula for acid-loving plants according to the directions on the label. Use the application rate listed on the bottle. Mulch well with 3-4 inches of arborist bark chips.
Apply a moderate amount of water on a regular basis, especially during fruit production. Catch neutral pH rainwater in a rain barrel for your Blueberries. Prune Blueberries to correct their shape in late winter, removing crossing branches and branches that grow into the interior of the plant at that time.
