Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Complementary colors - lively spring mixture! When you can't choose just one, choose the whole mix! The Crocus Mix (Crocus vernus) is a vivid array of Crocus varieties that each mix and match, and play against each other for a stunning display to welcome the start of the growing season!
The spikey two-tone green leaves stay about 6 inches tall and form naturalized little groupings throughout the landscape, sending up their vivid array of purple, yellow, bi-color, and white blooms - sometimes before the snow has even finished melting! Each with a vivid orange central stamen, the cheerful little faces will seem like they are clamoring to get your attention each spring!
This variety of Crocus is long-lived throughout a wide range of growing conditions and hardiness zones! Growing just a few inches high, these little spring ephemerals form polite colonies over time! Crocus attracts loads of early emerging pollinators and beneficial insects, grateful for the nectar resource!
Planting and Application:
This mixture includes Pickwick, Golden Yellow, Flower Record, and Jeanne d'Arc bulbs that'll grow to fill your spring garden with whites, deep purples, and a splash of golden yellows. Together, they create a blanket of color the entire neighborhood will fawn over!
You can use your Crocus Mix as borders, edging, and en mass throughout the landscape, Rock Garden, or the first nectar resources of a Pollinator border! Plant in groups of a dozen, or even displays of hundreds! They are extremely versatile when it comes to landscaping.
Why wait for spring, instead force Crocus bulbs indoors for color in the winter months! Just choose a pretty pot or bulb jar and a bright sunny window to grow these cheerful delights! They also work great in containers and planter accents!
- Mix of White, Yellow, Purple & Bi-Color Flower Colors
- Spiky Two-Tone Short Green Foliage Clumps
- Early Spring Blooms For Pollinators
- Great in Containers & Winter Forcing Indoors
- Versatile Small-Scale Spring Landscaping Uses!
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant these little bulbs, technically referred to as Corms, about 2-3 inches deep with their pointed end facing up. Choose a full sun to partial shade location in a well-drained site with moderate moisture access. Provide moderate moisture and some bulb fertilizer at the time of planting in the fall. Trim the foliage back after it yellows in the late summer or fall after frost.
For forcing indoors, or so they will bloom in the spring, these fall-planted bulbs need at least 6-8 weeks of Chill Hours. This chill time stimulates them to bloom, so if you are in a warm winter climate or growing them for winter color, give them a cool location to rest before planting.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Any Well-Drained Soil
- Moderate Moisture Needs
- Clean Foliage After It Yellows
- Deer Resistant Perennial Corms
