Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. So stunning, it should be in a class of its own, Flowerfesta® Pink Dwarf Lilac (Syringa meyeri 'Anny200817') truly brings the festive flower spirit to any garden it graces! It's lovely in sight, smell, and size - making this plant attractive to those with gardens of all shapes and sizes! Even those without gardens at all! These are unusual Lilacs though - they bloom in early to mid-summer and then rebloom again closer to fall!

Just like its sister plants in the Flowerfesta® series, this Pink Dwarf Lilac has a stunningly sweet fragrance to complement the traditional Lilac florets that come together to make beautiful panicles! The soft pink blooms sit atop light green foliage that creates a magical contrast fit for any garden!

Break out the party hats and streamers because Flowerfesta not only has those gorgeous blooms that appear later in the growing season but again in fall for double your garden celebration!

When you buy this phenomenal selection, you're also guaranteeing you'll have a Lilac for years to come, no matter how cold the winter or dry the summer! This flowering ornamental shrub can withstand temperatures as low as -18°F in USDA growing zones 3 through 7 and is extremely drought tolerant once established. Now that's a hardy plant!

Planting and Application:

Adding a Flowerfesta® Pink Dwarf to your small flowering hedges, mixed borders, or patio containers is easy! Plus it ensures you'll have a lovely garden full of blossoms and fragrance for far longer than your typical Lilac provides. The fun doesn't end there though! Once the season turns and you're starting to think about fall, this wonderful plant will bloom again! That's right, this variety is a repeat bloomer!

Of course, we would be remiss if we talked about a Lilac and didn't mention pollinators. Butterflies and hummingbirds flock to this plant for a springtime snack! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the flutter a Flowerfesta® Pink Dwarf Lilac brings to your patios.

Add double the color to mixed shrub borders as facer plants to hide the leggy stems of older plants, beef up the color and density of windbreaks, and add some long-lasting drama to your home's foundation planting!

Perfect for adding pops of color throughout those bare spots in your Cottage and Perennial gardens and Cut flower borders. These smaller space-saving shrubs fit perfectly even if you have an established landscape design. Dress up a weary patio and add vivid pinks to poolside plantings with Flowerfesta® Pink Dwarf!

  • Reblooming Late Season Blooms
  • Sweetly Fragrant Large Pink Panicles
  • Compact Growth Habit
  • Pollinators & Hummingbirds
  • Perfect for Containers, Low Hedges & Definition, Specimen & Accenting

#ProPlantTips for Care:

You'll want to plant this shrub in well-drained soil and somewhere it can soak up the sun all day long, but Pink Dwarf also tolerates afternoon shade and partial sun in warmer climates. As long as the Pink Dwarf Lilac stays watered during the first season, it'll be just fine receiving minimal watering in the future.

Easy-care Lilacs are cold resistant and also love the full sun! Not particular on soil type, any rich well-drained soil is best, preferring slightly alkaline soils. Enrich with compost and add organic, slow-release blooming shrub fertilizer in spring and avoid high-nitrogen or lawn fertilizers entirely. Be sure the Lilac does not sit in water, nor dry out for too long to protect your investment, but this Lilac is drought tolerant once established!

A generous layer of mulch helps retain soil moisture as well as insulate the root system from heat and chill. Water well through the crucial establishment period and during extended drought. Be sure to not cluster Lilac too tightly among other large trees or shrubs.

If you live with deer in your area, apply repellent spray on planting day. Deer are hungry and curious, and you want to train them to leave your plants alone. Reapply according to the label.

While Dwarf Lilacs rarely need much in the way of pruning, don't miss a single bloom with these easy Pruning steps for the best flowering. It is important not to prune Lilacs until after they have finished blooming, because if you wait too long and you may remove next year's flowers! Every few years, Lilac benefits from a renewal pruning too!

  • Full Sun & Partial Shade
  • Well-Drained Enriched Soil
  • Moderate Moisture & Mulched Beds
  • Long-Lived & Low Maintenance
  • Rarely Bothered by Deer
  • Cold & Drought Tolerant

Don't let the size of your garden determine whether or not you get to enjoy all the benefits of owning a Lilac. The Flowerfesta® Pink Dwarf Lilac is perfect for large landscapes or petite patios - giving you double the flower power every year! So order one for yourself today from Nature Hills Nursery!
