This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Buying Options for Plants
Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.
Ever wonder what a larger plant will mean for your landscape? Container Sizes are really all about the age of the plant!
Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Over-the-top color! Get ready to fall fast and hard for the lovely look of the First Editions® Flip Side® Chaste Tree PP#30,283 (Vitex x 'Bailtexone'). Growers can't get enough of this beautiful plant that gets its name from the olive-green leaves that flip to a dusky purple color on their undersides with just the gentlest of spring or summer breezes!
This showy plant is all about color! It all starts in the early springtime when the upper surface of the tree's aromatic leaves come out in a verdant dark olive green with just a touch of mauve on the stems and petioles that yields to a purple-grey color by midsummer!
But the show is far from over. Just wait till fall rolls around and the foliage turns a pumpkin orange color just in time for a harvest encore. From a visual standpoint, the Flip Side® Chaste Tree really is a variety that keeps on giving (and on and on!). You'll find that this tree is deciduous in colder climates but may hold its foliage in warmer regions.
And while the color of the foliage is to be celebrated, the true magic happens when the Flip Side® develops its super-sized summer panicles that measure 8 inches in length. These deep purple flowers are a sight to behold and are super fragrant. We're talking about a shrub that becomes heavily laden with blooms, blooms, and more blooms everywhere!

Taking care of the Flip Side® Chaste Tree is so simple and easy that even novice gardeners can grow it when they add it to their landscape! Plant these gems in full sun where they will bloom their best in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Choose a well-drained soil location with regular moisture access until they are established, and then, Chase Trees are low moisture usage shrubs! Just give them a drink during prolonged drought and a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch to support their roots.
Blooming on new wood, prune your shrub in the late winter or early spring before new growth emerges. In cooler growing zones of USDA hardiness 7 to 9, these shrubs can act as perennials and die back to the ground or act like deciduous shrubs, but in frost-free climates, they can keep their leaves year-round.
