Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes

Add some fire to your landscape with Flame Calla Lily (Zantedeschia 'Flame')! Glowing red chalices rimmed in yellow, rise above strappy, deep-green foliage! Turning a bold orange as the flowers age, each has a bright yellow exclamation mark in the center of the sculpted curved blooms!
Deep-green, strappy, arrowhead-shaped foliage, flecked in silver grows upwards around the blossoms and looks fantastic all on its own! Creating compact clumps keeps themselves neat and tidy - so no work from you!
Calla Lilies are hardy perennial bulbs in USDA growing zones 8-10, but cooler zones won't miss out on this hot plant! In colder areas of the country, they can be grown as annuals or can be dug up in the fall and stored indoors for replanting the next Spring, once the danger of frost has passed.
Landscape Application:
Flame Calla Lily is great along borders, in masse, and in groupings throughout the sunny landscape and garden as either an annual accent or perennial in warmer climates! Snip Calla flowers to create gorgeous, long-lasting bouquets, or keep yours blooming outdoors for the pollinators and the fiery burst of hot color in the landscape! The blooms keep coming all summer!
Flame is a great stand-alone 'thriller' for containers and planters, however, it also plays well with others! Adding drama and lavish color in mixed plantings! When outdoors, try them on your porch or patio, or even as houseplants in a sunny window indoors!
- Fiery Colored Cups of Orange, Red & Yellow!
- Unique Sculpted Blooms - Flowers All Summer
- Tropical Flair Glows Every Summer
- Strappy Pointed Deep Green Leaves Flecked In Silver
- Great For Borders, Massing, Containers & Accents
#ProPlantTips for Care:
True to its name, Flame thrives in the full sun but can handle some part shade! Preferring rich, humusy, organic-rich soil. These bulbs need consistent moisture but cannot tolerate soggy soil. A layer of mulch/compost over the soil surface retains soil moisture and insulates the rhizomes when planted outside year-round.
Calla should be planted in the spring in frost-free climates for year-round enjoyment, but Northern growers can plant theirs in the autumn as houseplants or use them as annual accents in their porch planters, sunrooms, and greenhouse gardens. Plant these rhizomes 4-6 inches apart and at least 12-18 inches away from other plants. Cover the rhizomes with 1-2 inches of soil and water in well.
- Full Sun Perennial Rhizomes
- Well-Drained Highly Organic Soil
- Regular Moisture Access - No Soggy Soil
- Trim Yellowed Foliage
- Can Be Dug In Fall Like Canna & Dahlia In Colder Climates
