Heat and cold-hardy throughout USDA planting zones 3 to 9, these perennial rhizomes grow about 3 feet in height and only spread 12-18 inches wide. The hardy rhizomes are not only practically squirrel-proof but these perennial's roots are also deer and rabbit-resistant.
Planting and Application:
Plant your reblooming Feed Back Bearded Iris in your woodland garden to create a scene that fairies would faint upon seeing! To give Feed Back Iris the attention it deserves, try using it as a specimen or plant it as a border beside early bloomers to keep your garden saturated in color all spring long.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
You can't go wrong with this one of these Bearded Iris. In fact, these are incredibly easy to grow! The Bearded Iris appreciates a wide range of soil types including salty soil and it's drought-tolerant once they are established. Plant Feed Back Tall Bearded Iris in well-drained soil in partial shade or full sun. Use a mounded technique and keep the rhizome partially uncovered for best results.
All plants appreciate a 3-4 inch layer of arborist mulch over their roots, especially Iris rhizomes prefer only to be partially covered. Prune your Iris foliage back in late fall near the ground and cover it with an additional layer of mulch. The German Iris will be ready to divide and thin after about two to three years. You don't have to worry about rabbits or deer munching on them either.
Information About Bare Root Iris
Bare root Iris are shipped as nice fresh-cut divisions with two to three fans of green tops. Keep in mind each Iris variety can have slightly different-sized roots When you plant your Tall Bearded Iris rhizome, mound up soil and leave the top 1/3rd of the rhizome exposed.
Note, that it's best to cover the rhizome with a thin layer of mulch or leaves to protect it during the coldest months but make sure to uncover in the spring. Water well for the first year. Irises are best planted from late summer into fall.
