This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

Growing Zones 5-9
When you think of Hydrangeas, you may just think of the garishly bright pinks and blues in your grandmother's garden. If you're looking for something different, might we suggest that you give Everlasting™ Ocean Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Hortmoc') a try? The big mopheads are consistent bloomers! Backed by a dense mound of quilted, serrated foliage, these compact shrubs look gorgeous even when not in bloom!
The flower colors begin softly, not in garish pinks or blues, but with fringed, creamy pink or pale lilac florets. Slowly the petals begin to get celery-green highlights while the pink and lilac deepen to rose and lavender. Eventually, the green color moves from the base of each petal and the highlights begin to change the entire bloom to bright lime green with vivid pink edges. Talk about an ocean of change!
Everlasting™ Ocean is a re-bloomer that is very dense, Everlasting™ is a Dutch series of Hydrangeas developed specifically for the cut flower market, so you know that the blooms must be spectacular to meet such high expectations! The stems are strong and straight and are bred not to flop or twist. The flowers are super long-lasting and very big, considering the height of the plant.
Planting and Application:
Ideal cutting garden and cottage garden additions, Everlasting™ Ocean is a beautiful low hedge and property definition! Drop a row along your home's foundation planting, or a row along a fence line to add a dreamy pop of color. Use as backdrops to your Rose gardens or add to mixed-shrub plantings. A pair standing astride your front steps or welcoming you to the start of a path or on either side of the entrance of your driveway.
The smaller size and compact growth make Everlasting™ Ocean great in containers and planters! Use as a formal planting in an upscale container on your patio or near your home's front door, or mix among other shrubs and spillers for more informal plantings. Plant a row of these compact shrubs along your driveway or the front of your home's property to separate it from the sidewalk and prying eyes.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Bigleaf Hydrangea does best in more sun for the strongest stems, but Everlasting™ also tolerates partial shade, especially in the hottest of its favored USDA hardiness zones 5 through 9. Plant in a well-drained enriched environment with a 3-4 inch layer of mulch over the root zone. These shrubs do best in a consistent, yet moderate amount of moisture, so be sure to water in times of extreme heat and drought and apply 3-4 inches of arborist mulch over the entire root system.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Moderate Moisture & Well-Drained Soil
