The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Wintercreepers are incredibly adaptable and versatile plants that thrive in an insanely wide range of conditions and climates! The Vegetus Euonymus (Euonymus radicans 'Vegetus') is a broadleaf evergreen vine, spreading groundcover or shrub depending on your landscape needs!
Vegetus Euonymus is an incredibly versatile plant. You can train it into a large shrub, leave it as a groundcover, or even urge it into a climbing vine. The small, elliptical leaves are evergreen with a thick texture and matte green color.
Green-tinted, pollinator-friendly white flowers appear in summer followed by pretty pink capsules in mid-fall. A profusion of orange-red berries appears in autumn and lasts into winter, attracting birds and wildlife. This bushy, Asiatic twining shrub for USDA growing zones 5 to 9, it's a versatile and adaptable plant.
Planting and Application:
Use Vegetus as facer plants and year-round green low-growing fringe around your trees and larger shrubs, adding a finishing touch to your design! You won't have as much trimming to do when you mow the lawn or worry about weed wacker or mower damage on your tree's trunks.
Gorgeous as either a formally sheared or naturally fluffy shrub, use Vegetus as a low hedge for defining garden beds or as edging, even as evergreen facer plants that hide the bare leggy stems of larger trees and shrubs. Widely becoming an easy alternative to Boxwood shrubs because of their low-maintenance fuss-free nature.
Able to climb up anything that is available, you'll enjoy the vertical greenery that hides ugly eye sores and rambles down retaining walls and hard-to-mow hillsides. Place one near an arbor or fence and let it become a living decoration that's attractive even in winter!
Fantastic erosion control on steep slopes, and lush green groundcover over large patches of bare ground throughout any sunny site without fading or faltering. Slower growing than the rest of the family, these plants are the epitome of low-maintenance year-round greenery!
- Matte Green Versatile Plant
- Hardy Broadleaf Evergreen
- Flowers & Berries For Pollinators & Songbirds
- Formal & Informal Gardens & Containers
- Adaptable to Vine or Shrub Form, Erosion & Vertical Greenery
