Planting and Application:

The flower power starts in early summer and continues in flushes through the first frost of fall and you'll want to show these huge drifts of multi-hued blooms off anywhere in the sun! Little Mischief Roses are the highlights of a butterfly garden, pollinator border, and cut flower garden, enticing visitors of all kinds - including curious hummingbirds and butterflies! Especially attractive in a perennial border or bulb garden as a low-growing hedge to define your space or to edge a garden bed.

Add elegant pops of color by planting these Roses in groupings throughout your landscape. Expand the mulched bed to line Little Mischief in front of existing evergreen shrubs. They work beautifully in front of "leggy" shrubs that need a facer plant. Cultivate a polished presentation with their abundant flower clusters and pristine foliage.

Whether you have a large or small landscape or none at all, homeowners and renters can keep Little Mischief in large outdoor containers to decorate your small space garden! Adding bountiful blooms to cottage garden urns and around sunny porches and patios! Or go big by planting low-maintenance drifts and en masse plantings that will catch the eye on a grand scale!

  • Beautiful Light & Dark Pink Blend & White Eye
  • Disease Resistant Glossy Green Foliage
  • Low-Growing Mounding Shrub Rose
  • Containers & Planters, Butterflies & Cut Flower Gardens
  • Low Hedges, Edging, Facer Plants, En Masse & Vivid Accents!

#ProPlantTips for Care

Plant easy-care this own root Shrub Rose where it can get plenty of air circulation and sunshine. Full sun with morning sun is best, and it will need at least six or more hours of full sun a day. Give Little Mischief well-drained soil that doesn't stay soggy after heavy rain. Order Nature Hills Root Booster to help your long-lived Roses access micronutrients. This time-tested formula contains mycorrhizal fungus to create a symbiotic relationship with tiny feeder roots and never wears out.

Schedule a moderate amount of water for your Roses and try to water at the base of the plant, rather than wet the foliage and spread a 3-4 inch layer of mulch to help reduce dirt splashing onto the leaves. This helps reduce the spread of disease and keeps your foliage clean.

In early spring and mid-summer, apply a slow-release fertilizer for flowering plants. Follow the application rates on the label, please. In late fall, rake and bag all leaf litter from underneath the plant. Prune down to eight inches in early spring just as they start to wake back up. For everything about pruning Roses, winterizing Roses, and un-wintering Roses in spring in our #ProPlantTips Garden Blog!
