Rose Trees need a protected, fertile site with plenty of full sun, favoring morning sunlight! Provide at least 6 hours of direct light a day and highly organic, well-drained fertile soil. Easy Does It™ is naturally disease-resistant and a vigorous bloomer that handles the heat with ease! Never let Rose trees dry out or sit in soggy soil, provide excellent drainage in containers and add a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch over the soil surface for insulation.

Rose Tree Care & Pruning

Some winter protection for Tree Form Roses is suggested for the colder zones 5 and 6 and some of zone 7 too by overwintering in an unheated garage after it goes dormant, or outside with straw and burlap wrap. Then in spring, take it back out or unwrap it and trim the head back to about a 12" sphere just as it begins to grow again in spring.

Early each spring, after the last frost of the year has passed, it's always a good idea to prune back the Rose tree several inches to maintain the nice round form atop its trunk. Keep new blooms returning with occasional deadheading, quickly improving your overall display.
