Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Short and sweet, the colorful assortment of perennial Columbine Earlybird™ Mix (Aquilegia x 'Earlybird Mix') features a randomized grouping of multiple hues of dwarf Columbine that is perfect for hot climates and short growing seasons!
Blooming spring and summer, this assortment can have white, pink, purple, blue, yellow and red combinations of these unique wildflowers and their nodding sectioned blooms! Rising high over the lacy foliage with many lobes and leaflets, the blooms dangle from slender elegant stems. Pollinators adore these blooms as much as we do!
Forming dense, smaller mounds of frilly foliage, these blooms look as lovely in a pot or planter as they do in your garden beds and borders. Columbine blooms have sturdy stems and create the most unique bouquets you can imagine! Adding nodding grace and whimsy to any setting regardless of how much space you have available - both indoors and out!
Planting and Application:
Dwarf Columbine retains all the elegance of the larger wildflowers, just downsized for smaller modern lots and planters! Add to container garden beds and mixed planters for a touch of finery and color. Ideal additions to smaller pollinator and Cottage gardens and tiny cutting borders to add cheerful mixed color to anywhere indoors and out!
Perennial Columbines look fantastic as edging and spillers in Rock gardens and around porches and patios and their small size allows even balcony gardeners to enjoy their tiny blooms! Plant in children's gardens with other unique blooms like Liatris and Allium, and touchable Lamb's Ears! Or let self-seed and naturalize around small-scale wildflower plantings and en masse gardens!
- Dwarf Assorted Columbine Mix
- Small Fine-Textured Soft Green Foliage

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Easy care Aquilegia tolerates an incredibly wide range of conditions in USDA zones 3 through 9! These tender perennials do best in full sun for cooler growing zones and thrive in part sun or afternoon shade in hotter climates. Preferring a nice cool and moist soil that is well-drained and has a 3-4 inch thick layer of Arborist mulch over the surface. Provide regular water during hot summers and throughout drought and prolonged heat. Deadhead to prevent self-seeding or can leave the interesting seed heads on to reseed and naturalize if desired.
- Full Sun & Part Shade
- Cool Organic, Moist Well-Drained Soil
- Mulch Beds Well
