Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Sweet, petite, and pink, the Dwarf Pink Rock Rose (Cistus x skanbergii) is a low-growing broadleaved evergreen shrub that is filled with densely packed, aromatic, sage-green leaves and rose-pink 5-petalled blooms! The compact growth and prolific flowers are just what your hot and sunny garden needs to brighten the harshest spots your yard can throw at them!
At the center of each wild-rose-like blossom is a cheerful yellow center of golden anthers! Bees, Butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators seek out these late spring through summer-long blossoms for their abundant nectar and pollen resources!
Dwarf Pink Rock Rose, sometimes spelled Rockrose one word, are incredibly water-wise shrubs that thrive in the sun, heat, and humidity of USDA growing zones 8 to 11. Growing 2-4 feet in height when in bloom, this smaller Rock Rose spreads smaller than others at 4-5 feet wide. Native to Greece, this Rock Rose is sure to thrive in the most arid sites around!
Planting and Application:
Impressive weed-blocking mats and flowering groundcover, the Dwarf Pink Rock Rose will add cheer and pink beauty to your garden beds and borders. Let these bright flowering evergreens spill over garden garden edges or Rock Garden stones, and over the tops of retaining walls! The butterflies will love them as the lovely little blooms flower all late spring and summer long!
These smaller shrubs are fantastic in planters as spillers around a central thriller shrub! Add them in pairs to sunny front porches or back patios that are drenched in the sun all day! In the ground, these sun-lovers happily ramble through the sun garden whether it is a pampered border or a Xeric hell-strip! Paths, driveways, sidewalks, and the street never had it so good!
Dwarf Pink Rock Rose is a fantastic flowering lawn alternative, for hard-to-mow slopes and eroding sunny slopes! Plant en masse anywhere you need to fill large areas that need something to block weeds, and cover bare ground! Handling coastal gardens and poor soils, you won't need to worry over this tough landscape workhorse.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Rock Roses are full sun shrubby plants, soaking up at least 6 hours of direct sun a day or more. Highly adaptable to a wide range of well-drained soil, with regular moisture access for young broadleaf evergreen shrubby perennials. Avoid poor soils that don't drain well to avoid root rot. However, these plants become quite drought-tolerant once established.
Rock Roses need very little pruning, but if you do choose to trim, do so only after they are done flowering. Provide a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch over the soil surface to help with insulating the roots and provide moisture retention.
- Easy-Care In Full Sun
- Needs Well-Draining Soil
- Moderate to Low Moisture Once Established
- Prune After Flowering Only
- Saline, Drought, Pest, Disease & Heat-Tolerant
