Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 10-11 or as an indoor plant
Impossible to ignore, the Dracaena Colorama (Dracaena marginata 'Colorama') can grace your interior with its stylish beauty and eye-catching texture! Long, strappy leaves - striped in lovely red, burgundy, and green lengthwise along each leaf - grow towards the sky! Then gradually cascades out and down toward the ground, creating a fountain of vibrant color and unique form.
As the lower leaves fall away, exposing the patterned canes, older plant stems that can sometimes curve and undulate as they grow, add another dimension to this plant! Colorama is an impressively easy-to-care-for and very forgiving tropical broadleaf evergreen! Highly adaptable and thriving indoors as well as out, Dracaena ais re no wonder king of the indoor plant landscape!
USDA hardiness zone 10-11 can use these tropical evergreens as year-round landscape accents, and may even chance to see them bloom! The frothy white blossoms attract pollinators. As a houseplant, Dracaena are typically maintained in the 3-6 or 8 foot range and are upright growing with less spread getting in the 2-3 foot range. They have a unique tropical look to them and the bright color is best in bright indirect light indoors. When grown in tropical regions outside they are known as Dragon Trees and can get up to 15 or 20 feet tall or more if they are happy.Planting and Application:
Colorama loves a bright east-facing window or several hours of indirect light. When grown in low light conditions, be sure to use supplemental artificial lights to provide additional lumens for healthy growth and retain the best color. This is a reason why Dracena is often chosen for office settings! Their love of containers and planters means they are ideal houseplants, patio and porch accents and can be slowly transitioned outside around a part shade pool or seating area.
Add to mixed tropical plantings for height and texture or as a fantastic formal, evenly-spaced row along a border, walkway, or fence line! It will be hard to not notice these lending their form to informal groupings and as focal points throughout the warm-climate outdoor landscape! Northern growers can use these as incredible summer décor and accents, transitioning them indoors before the threat of frost.- Burgundy & Green Striped Leaves

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Dracaena has great looks but doesn't require much care. It will tolerate all but direct sunlight. If you have a sunny window, angle this plant away from it, or keep it diffused behind a curtain. Too much light can burn the leaves. Watch for brown leaf spots, and reduce the light if you see them develop. Appreciating water after the soil has begun to dry out slightly, prevent them from ever getting soggy, and plant in very well-drained and enriched soil. Be sure containers have very good drainage. Remove old or yellowed leaves as they occur from the bottom up.
