This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

Growing Zones 4-9
The American native Coneflower is one of those plants that belongs in every garden. This is one of the most rugged, easy to care for, and beautiful plants you can have in your landscape. The first Coneflowers covered the prairies in yellows and purples! But now, through the efforts of many breeders over many years, we have a kaleidoscope of colors and forms available!
The Proven Winners® Double Scoop™ Cranberry Coneflower PP24769 (Echinacea x 'Balscanery') is one of the most thrilling of the newer releases. The cranberry color is such a rare red for an Echinacea! This is a really deep, but bright cranberry red that won't bleach out as the flowers age, either! You'll enjoy this hot color show for months on end beginning in early summer and lasting through fall!
The fluffy double centers are full and round while the matching Daisy-like petals droop and the flowers have a slight fragrance that attracts loads of butterflies and hummingbirds! They will bloom up to the first frost if you deadhead them regularly throughout the growing season. However, be sure to leave the last of the blooms standing through the winter, because the dried seed heads are an absolute smorgasbord for birds in the winter throughout USDA planting zones 4 to 9.
Planting and Application:
You will adore the look of the fluffy, double pom-pom flowers. You can't help but want to touch them. They'll also look wonderful in a vase in cut-flower arrangements. Include these perennials in your Cut Flower garden and Cottage border, filling your home and garden with cranberry blooms! This means pollinators and hummingbirds will enjoy the late-season pollen and nectar these flouncy blooms provide!
Mix and match with other cranberry blooms and burgundy foliage plants in the sun! This juicy color shines in Pollinator borders, Rock Gardens and mixed Perennial Gardens alike, and adds a fresh modern hue to your beds and borders! Hardy enough for sidewalks, pathways, and driveway edges in the sun where their Xeric native roots really shine!
Use these steady and hardy growers wherever you want to draw attention. How incredible to have that color welcoming guests on either side of a doorway, or to spice up a long pathway. The foliage stays clean and green all summer long.
Pot up in decorative containers and upscale urns as a fancy novelty specimen and thriller plant! Even if you don't have any room left in your landscaping beds, these fluffy blooms will become the conversation starter around your porch and patio seating areas, and add their unique beauty to front entry and balcony settings!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
For best results, these herbaceous perennials need to be planted in the full sun in a well-drained soil area to ensure they grow the strongest stems and the healthiest roots. New plants need regular moisture their first year, but once established, Coneflowers only need supplemental moisture during prolonged drought and extreme heat.
All plants appreciate a 3-4-inch layer of arborist mulch and Nature Hills Root Booster to keep your plants stress-free. Coneflowers can rebloom without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, it encourages rebloom while improving their general appearance. Divide the clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years).
- Bloom Best In Full Sun
- Any Well-Drained Soil
- Moderate Moisture Needs - Drought-Tolerant Once Established
- Deadhead Often & Prune Early Spring
- Deer, Rabbit & Pest-Resistant
Combining native hardiness with juicy modern color, the double-petalled Proven Winners® Double Scoop™ Cranberry Coneflower will add its novelty blooms to your landscape! Order yours at NatureHills.com today!
