Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Delicious Color On A Hot Hybrid Pink

Dianthus, or Pinks, have been cottage-garden staples since there have been cottages to have gardens around. These kissing cousins of the Carnation are equally as beautiful and scented, catching the eye in the garden as well as the nose.

Bumbleberry Pie Dianthus is from the new line of hybrids out of the United Kingdom's most prestigious breeder of Garden Pinks. They have starred at the Oscar's of the horticultural scene - the RHS Chelsea Flower Show - and have won the high honor of the RHS Award of Garden Merit. But those are just a couple of the reasons to love this new introduction. Let us give you a few more:

- Extra-large single blooms in a saturated rose-pink with a vivid hot-pink center

- Sturdy, long stems don't flop from the weight of the flower

- Perfect for cutting with a long vase life

- Great for containers, borders and beds

- Both cold and drought tolerant

- Excellent garden performance all the way to zone 5 (-20 degrees)

Whether your garden is cottage, rustic or very modern, this clean perennial flower will shine in your landscape. The flowers are edible, so work it into your vegetable garden. They are fantastic for picking, so put a few in your cutting garden. They look great en masse, so try a big bed of them. Their silver foliage looks great with evergreens.

Bumbleberry Pie Dianthus is a new flower that you need in your garden this year. Don't wait until we sell out!
