To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

First Editions® Diamond Rouge™ Panicle Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Rendia' PP24,667) is a real innovation! It is, without a doubt, the reddest Panicle Hydrangea available to the home gardener today! This plant is spectacularly in bloom from June to October. In late June, the flowers on Diamond Rouge™ emerge pristine white. They change to pink as they age and then turn a delicious shade of raspberry-red!
By late summer, the blooms turn a deep wine red and last until the first frost. Hydrangea flowers are some of the best for drying for winter color and these blooms hold their shape while turning a lovely tan for fall and winter interest or indoor décor! Soil does not affect bloom color at all - only age throughout the growing season!
The foliage is naturally spotted and the leaves turn a pretty shade of orange in the fall to add to the already great show! Bred by Jean Renault, a famous Hydrangea hybridizer in France, we know that you will be enthralled by this beautiful new version of your favorite Hydrangea. Hardy and cold tolerant throughout USDA 4 through 8, Panicle Hydrangeas grow to a 4-5 foot mature height and 3-4 foot width.
Planting and Application:
Diamond Rouge™ is a good grower with a great bushy shape that looks great in a perennial border or as a backdrop to your Rose garden. Use as a low hedge and privacy screen around your seating areas or to separate your front yard from prying eyes walking along the sidewalk! These are gorgeous blooms for dressing up your home's foundation!
These are perfect for cutting gardens and mixed shrub borders, or just as a lovely specimen plant among evergreens or as a large blooming shrub to dress up your front porch corner as an anchor that will turn heads with its unusual colored blossoms!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant Panicle Hydrangeas in full sun and partial shade, favoring morning sun. If you are in the hottest of its favored growing zones, provide afternoon shade from the brunt of the summer sun. Keep the soil moderately moist and top dress with 3-4 inches of arborist mulch chips. You may prune every year, for size and to remove old growth, but no more than 1/3 of the plant. Only prune in the very early spring or you'll accidentally remove next year's blooms! These plants look best when they are kept pruned to keep them thick at the base. They are hardy and will not need to be covered to flower. Panicle Hydrangeas are easy to grow and they will tolerate less than ideal soil conditions.
