To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Stella de Oro is the bestselling Daylily in America! It works hard and makes a gardener look good without any fuss. So, when we heard that there was a miniature version of this beloved plant we knew that we needed to have it so we could offer it to you!
Mini Stella (Hemerocallis 'Mini Stella') has the same sunny yellow trumpet-shaped flowers, the same fragrance, the same spring-green grassy leaves, the same months upon months of hot color in your garden - but at half the size! The flowers are only 1 inch and the plant gets less than a foot high, but the flower power is amazing! Much to the delight of every native bee and pollinator in your garden!
The flushes of blooms start in the spring and then repeat all summer and into the fall. The blooms are lavish and continue for several weeks or more on each plant! Hardy like its perennial big sister, Mini Stella thrives throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 9, tolerating both cold winters and hot summers with ease!
Planting and Application:
Mini Stella is a phenomenal container plant! Brighten seating areas around the pool deck or patio, grace your front entry urns, or plant them in containers on a balcony or in a window box! These space-saving lovelies will love shining in the sun no matter how much room you have for them to spread.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Trouble-free and maintenance-free perennials, they tolerate most soils and conditions if they get at least 6 hours of sun and some partial shade in the afternoons of its hotter growing zones. Plant in mulched garden beds with 3-4 inches of arborist bark chips and enriched well-drained soil for best results. Provide new plants with moderate moisture on a regular basis, but once established, Daylilies are drought and occasionally soggy soil adaptable.
Deadhead to encourage rebloom, then trim the entire scape to the crown of the plant once all the buds are spent to clean up the mound. In late autumn after frost, remove all foliage to the ground and dispose of it away from the site to prevent rusts and diseases from overwintering. Divide the clumps only every 10-15 years compared to full-sized Daylilies that may need to be divided every few years.
