The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Vibrant long-lasting color! The Entrapment Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Entrapment') has ruffled deep blue-purple petals and a yellow throat surrounded by paler purple sepals. Entrapment is a fragrant rebloomer, showing off the beautiful 5" blooms throughout the summer into fall, upon its fountains of green foliage that can be semi-evergreen in warm climates.
A mid-season bloomer, it is carefree and colorful. These tetraploid Daylilies have been developed for their vibrant long-lasting color. They provide an amazing number of beautiful blooms on tall stems! Pollinators and Hummingbirds adore these blossoms as much as you will for your floral bouquets! You'll have plenty of blooms for both!
Although the blooms will last only for one day, there are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage, which should be removed in late fall for better health. Daylilies are the perfect perennial. Each plant sends up many flower stems, and each stem bears 12 or more buds. Bloom is lavish and continues for several weeks or more on each plant.
Planting and Application:
Use Entrapment in a perennial border, in front of shrubbery as facer plants, as an edging along a walkway or path, or before a fenceline or wall! They even look fantastic adding grace to the tops of retaining walls and Rock Gardens! Wonderful for shading your bulb beds, where they hide the summer heat-shy foliage of spring ephemerals.
Plant Daylilies together in large numbers and groupings for en masse color! They quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful groundcover and erosion control. Daylily are fantastic to create defensive zones in fire-prone areas and brighten xeric landscapes up and the fleshy roots store loads of water. Perfect for containers on hot and sunny porches and patios, balconies and as colorful front entry décor!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
These are tough and hardy perennials throughout chilly USDA growing zones 3 to steamy zones 10! Called the perfect perennial because of its plant-it-and-forget-it nature! Deer and rabbits, heat and chill, pests and disease seldom bother these plants! Trouble-free, maintenance-free, they tolerate most soils and conditions if they get at least 6 hours of sun. Add a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist mulch over the soil surface for best results!
Deadhead to encourage a rebloom that lasts for weeks during the summer until the fall. Once the foliage dies back to the ground in the autumn, trim back the leaves and top with compost or refresh the mulch for the winter. Divide plants every few years to keep the clump size healthy and stress-free.
