To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Opening into small but ultra colorful royal purple petals with a yellow eye and accentuated by a snow-white ring inside each sweet little bloom! Plus they have orange little stamen giving each blossom a flashy center!
Colorful little starlets with their fine, grassy foliage, Tricolor Crocus are among the first spring bulbs to emerge after a long, dreary winter! Sometimes even poking up through the melting snow. You and your pollinators and early butterflies will enjoy the mild, sweet fragrance they emit!

Planting and Application:
Use these very low-growing perennial bulbs as edging or in containers and planters to create an early-season display anywhere sunny! Let meander throughout beds and borders, and among larger perennials or shrubs, without worrying the bulbs will interfere with larger roots or vice versa! Pollinator beds and rock gardens, everything looks better with these little darling bulbs!
Technically known as corms, Crocus bulbs should be planted in early fall before the ground freezes, depending on your growing zone and climate. Plant in a sunny site near a wall or foundation for earlier blooms, or in a shadier location for later emerging bulbs.

Growing zones 3 to 8 can leave Crocus plants in the ground, or even in a large planter. Crocus bulbs require at least six to eight weeks of what's known as 'chill hours' before they will sprout.
