To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

You will never tire of admiring the beauty that is Pickwick Crocus (Crocus vernus 'Pickwick')! They are such a welcoming sight in early spring! Pickwick will be one of the first flowers in your garden to welcome the arrival of spring, sometimes even before the snows have finished receding!
Pickwick Crocus has large white and purple striped petals surrounding a golden yellow stamen. Together they paint a masterpiece of color! Crocus are one of the first flowers in your garden to welcome the arrival of the growing season!
This variety of Crocus corm is long-lived throughout a wide range of growing conditions and planting zones! Growing just a few inches high, these little spring ephemerals form polite colonies over time! Crocus attracts loads of early emerging pollinators, grateful for the nectar resource!
Planting and Application:
This specimen Crocus works great in mass displays and is super for naturalizing! Also ideal in smaller groupings or rows nearly anywhere throughout the garden! These flowering perennial bulbs need a sunny site in your landscape that is well-drained to avoid root rot. Provide moderate moisture and some bulb fertilizer at the time of planting in the fall. Plant pointed end up about 2-3 inches deep. Any organic soil with moderate moisture works great, both indoors and out! Trim the foliage back after it yellows in the late summer or fall after frost.
For forcing and in order to bloom in the spring, these fall-planted bulbs need at least 6-8 weeks of Chill Hours. This chill time stimulates them to bloom, so if you are in a warm winter climate or growing them for winter color, give them a cool location to rest before planting.
