Obviously, this tree adores soaking up the sun, so planting in full sun with well-drained soil will keep your tree as happy as can be! Plant your Maple in rich soil with regular moisture access and 3-4 inches of mulch around the root system. Keep your tree healthy by removing dead and damaged branches in the winter to ensure healthy growth in the months to come.
