To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Large-sized extra ruffled and shiny foliage, the frilly Stormy Seas Coral Bells (Heuchera 'Stormy Seas') has magnificently ruffled, somewhat glossy leaves that are maroon-purple when young, aging to bronze-green with bright purple undersides!
Cream-colored flowers appear on dark purple scapes from late spring to early summer. These are excellent nectar sources for your butterflies and hummingbirds, plus lacy filler for your indoor bouquets. Stormy Seas has a fantastic compact habit and displays extreme vigor. It is considered to be the best landscaping Heuchera available!
Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9 and grows 1-2 feet in height and 12-18 inches in width at maturity. These are herbaceous perennials in colder climates and harsh winters, but in mild winters and southern climates, Coral Bells exhibit evergreen tendencies! That way you can enjoy their colorful foliage almost year-round!
Planting and Application:
Since it is a low-growing perennial with a compact form, it will make an attractive groundcover and filler between larger plants and shrubs where these foliage plants dance in their shade! This Coral Bell is also excellent when mixed into ornamental containers on shady patios or as a skirting beneath shrubs or facer shrubs for larger trees and evergreen hedges.

This Coral Bell grows best in organically rich, humus, medium-moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. It does well in full sun in the northern part of its range and afternoon shade in the south. Plant these Perennials in almost any kind of soil, it's best in moderately moist, organically rich, and humusy sites with especially well-drained soil. A generous layer of mulch helps retain soil moisture as well as insulate the root system from heat and chill. An easy-care perennial, Coral Bells should be cut back in the early spring.
