#ProPlantTips for Care:

Coral Bells are content in everything from full sun or part shade, tolerating full sun in the cooler USDA growing zones of 4 through 9, and appreciate afternoon shade in the hotter of those climates. Otherwise, you chance leaf burn. Warmer climates will find Heuchera do best in afternoon shade or full shade. Plant in almost any kind of soil, but the best is moderately moist, organically rich, and humusy sites with especially well-drained soil. Provide access to moisture on a regular basis throughout hot summers and long dry spells. A generous layer of mulch helps retain soil moisture as well as insulate the root system from heat and chill. Plus a winter application of compost and more mulch for best results.

Relatively low-maintenance herbaceous Perennial should be cut back in the early spring. Tolerating heat and humidity, it performs well even in the South where it can display evergreen to semi-evergreen tendencies. These perennials appreciate being divided every 3-5 years to maintain vigor. Fast-growing and long-lived, Coral Bells is an easy-to-care-for perennial. It has no insect or disease problems, and does well in a variety of conditions!

  • Full Sun to Full Shade
  • Easy to Grow in Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate Moisture Needs & Appreciates Mulched Beds
  • Prune In Early Spring
  • Deer & Rabbit Resistant, Heat & Humidity Tolerant
