The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Add a two-toned brilliant pink pop with the Secret™ Passion Coneflower (Echinacea 'Secret Passion') is a sight to behold when it displays its awesome passionate pink color! Passion has bright, flamingo pink, double cones made of petals instead of the usual Coneflower spikey centers. The full, raised central dome is set atop lighter pink ray petals!
These huge landing pads are a nectar and pollen-laden boon to pollinators, bees, butterflies and beneficial insects! Standing atop strong stems, this specialty perennial is well-branched and compact! Passion stands out with its dark pink center with contrasting, light pink petals surrounding it!
It is a long-lasting flower that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds and is great in cut flower arrangements! A larger Coneflower, growing 27 inches tall when in bloom and spread into clumps 3 feet wide throughout USDA planting zones 4 to 9. If you leave the Coneflower seed heads on the plant at the end of the season, they will provide winter interest and food for native ;songbirds.
Planting and Application:
Secret™ Passion's bright, intense flowers are supported on strong stems and look great in the middle of the garden bed. These vibrant pink blooms are best if grouped or massed, but are large enough to hold their own as a solitary specimen in a Cottage garden or mixed Perennial Garden, or the thriller in a planter in the sun!
This Echinacea will present a season full of daisy-like flowers and is praised for its prolonged blooming after other perennials have faded! Lasting until fall, these are must-haves for the Pollinator Garden, providing mid to late-season blooms with ample pollen and nectar for bees and migrating Monarch butterflies and Hummingbirds!
These may be ornamentals with a pretty face, but they've kept their native Echinacea hardiness! Handling sun, heat and cold, Coneflowers thrive in Rock Gardens because of their tolerance of poor, sandy and rocky environments! Doing as well as they do the pampered garden bed! Perfect for updated prairies, xeric sites, and hose hell strips along sidewalks, pathways, and roads. They are even ideal choices for Firewise landscaping plans!
- Brilliant Double Two-Toned Pink Flowers

#ProPlantTips for Care:
These herbaceous perennials thrive in hot and sunny sites! Best in full sun, Echinacea are hardy, tolerant, and drought-tolerant once established. Plant with Nature Hills Root Booster and access to yearly fertility to keep the blooms popping! Echinacea does great in most soil types as long as they are well-drained!
Provide moderate, yet consistent moisture for new plants, then afterward, they only need supplemental moisture during prolonged heat and drought or risk seeing reduced flowering and vigor. All plants can be kept stress-free with a 3-4-inch layer of arborist mulch.
Secret™ Passion usually re-blooms without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improve general appearance. If you leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall their seeds provide winter food for birds. Divide perennial clumps about every 3 to 4 years.
- Full Sun Perennial
