Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

They will look fantastic in the vase bouquet as they do when shining in your sun garden!

Part of the PRAIRIE PILLARS™ Collection, Hope grows up to 30 inches tall when in bloom and spreads into green mounds 24 inches wide. Hardy throughout a wide range of conditions of USDA planting zones 4 to 9, there is little that fazes this resilient perennial plant! A delight for songbirds, the spikey dried seedheads provide food for Goldfinch and other wildlife!

Planting and Application:

Echinacea is known for its large flower heads that turn to seed in the fall. It is a great choice for cut flowers, and adds a wilderness look to your sun garden! A must-have for Pollinator gardens and Cut Flower gardens, fill your world with fragrant bold blossoms, and butterflies, and your indoor vases with fanciful color! Your Monarch butterflies will appreciate the late-season nectar as they migrate!

No yard is no problem! These fiving perennials work beautifully in containers on your porch or patio, in a sun-drenched front entry urn, around poolside seating areas, and in balcony container gardens!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Plant these resilient perennials in full sun in a well-drained area to ensure they have the strongest stems and the most blooms. Coneflowers usually rebloom without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this procedure will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improve their general appearance. All plants appreciate a 3-4-inch layer of arborist mulch and Nature Hills Root Booster to keep your plants stress-free.

Provide moderate, yet consistent moisture for new plants, but established Coneflowers only need supplemental waterings during prolonged heat and drought. Coneflowers rebloom without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improve general appearance. Divide your plants every 3-4 years to maintain vigor.
