Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 6-10
Gorgeous vines, incredible green-skinned fruit, and delicious white wine! Chardonnay Grape Vines (Vitis 'Chardonnay') are grown the world over and creates a famous beverage that shares its name. This sparkling white table wine or even Champagne has an aromatic flavor and is described as being very fruit-forward!
The lush green foliage and strong canes are wonderful backdrops for the white blooms and the bright green clusters of jeweled fruit! Those summer flowers will be visited by plenty of bees and beneficial pollinators which will help you pollinate these self-fertile Vines! You'll enjoy a great harvest, but planting multiples of these Vines means increased pollination for all!
Chardonnay Grapes are heat tolerant throughout USDA growing zones 6 through 10 and are amazing dual-purpose edible landscaping specimens, shade, and privacy Vines! Birds love the fruit, so if you can't plant extra vines to share with them, then employ some bird netting to keep a majority of the fruit for your fermented beverages!
Planting and Application:
Grape Vines are fantastic fruiting Vines to grow on arbors and trellis, fencing and any structure with support. Train up supports or a lattice to shade a balcony while keeping the roots in a large planter and gain lovely fruitful privacy without sacrificing space! Train up arbors and trellis, or over a pergola above your outdoor entertaining and dining areas!
Not only does the fruit make tasty beverages, but the grape leaves are also used in Mediterranean recipes! Try stuffed grape leaves known as dolmas or dolmades! Blanch and brine them to make grape-leaf pickles and included them in salads. Harvest only clean, chemical-free leaves that are still glossy in the late spring and early summer if you plan on using them for recipes.
- Lovely Green Grapes & Flavorful White Wines

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Chardonnay Grapes need to be grown in full sun, preferring the morning sun to dry the leaves and fruit of dew. Provide a location with good air circulation. Provide plenty of regular moisture to get your Vines established and they will reward you. These plants appreciate deep, somewhat acidic, well-drained soil. Top off with a 3-4 inch thick mulch layer to support the roots, plus regular fertility. Prune your Grapevine in late winter or early spring to maintain the shape, size, and vigor of next year's fruiting wood.
- Full Sun
- Regular Moisture & Fertility
- Best in Rich Well-Drained Soil
- Appreciates Mulched Beds
- Prune in Late Winter/Early Spring
