Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

If you like large, firm raspberries that are just as pretty as a picture, you'll love the gourmet Cascade Gold Raspberry Bush (Rubus idaeus 'Cascade Gold'). This variety bears fruit in summer on second-year canes and is well known for its productive nature when planted correctly.

Don't plan on taking a vacation in June. You'll want to be present for the bountiful harvest, so you can enjoy the scrumptious sweet-tart taste from your very own garden. This is a gourmet treat, with large golden berries delivering a delicious, well-balanced flavor.

You'll want to provide sturdy support and cover the plants with netting. After all, you'll need a fighting chance against those hungry birds. Let them eat birdseed! Or be a friend to your feathered songbirds and plant a couple extra for them to nest in, shelter in and feast upon! You'll be doing your pollinators a huge favor as well with the flourish of glistening white flowers full of nectar and pollen!

Planting and Application:

Invite your friends and family over for an annual Harvest Party and start a very special tradition. You'll want plenty of full fat cream and raw, local honey on hand to serve with these golden beauties. Go ahead, use the fine china - it's worth it!

Use the shrubs as you would any sun-loving flowering shrub in both front and back yard landscaping! Let your foundation plantings, hedges, back-of-the-border backdrops and specimen plantings pull double-duty and give back to you for all the work you provide them! Plus a bountiful harvest of golden juicy gems to fill your fruit bowl, make gilded jams and jellies, or flavor your morning fruit bowl!

  • Delicious Healthy Golden Yellow Berries
  • Fast-Growing Mid-Sized & Handsome Foliage
  • White Self-Pollinating Blossoms
  • Summer Bearing Floricane
  • Pollinator & Songbird Friendly!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Give Cascade Gold at least 6 hours of sun and well-drained soil that's mulched for the best flowering and fruiting shrub possible! Be prepared to give this plant adequate moisture as needed and mulch the site very well too! This improved variety of features increased disease resistance and exhibits fairly high deer resistance.

  • Full Sun & Regular Fertility
  • Moderately Moist Well-Drained Soil
  • USDA Zones 4-8
  • Prune After Fruiting
  • Deer & Disease Resistant!

Choose golden fruit and lovely landscape presence that won't take up all your time with the Cascade Gold Raspberry bush this year from NatureHills.com! Gourmet fruiting and flowering shrubs delivered to your doorstep!
