This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Your Buzz™ series Magenta is a remarkable variety of Butterfly Bush that not only possesses flowers as large as a full-sized shrub, but does so in a dwarf size. Each long, 6-inch spike displays a cluster of delicate magenta florets packed together to create vivid flowering spikes of fragrant beauty!
The amazing floral spikes appear on long branches, reaching up from the mounding shrub to cascade out for an elegant, arching appearance. Need we mention they are an irresistible allure to your butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees?
Magenta's aromatic elliptic leaves provide the perfect backdrop for the impressive flowers and maintain a lively appearance for your Butterfly Bush even when not in bloom! Deer resistant, heat and sun tolerant, and not backing down from USDA growing zones 5 to 11, Buzz™ Butterfly Bushes take hardiness to the extreme!
Planting and Application:

Mix and match with larger Butterfly Bush, or with other Buzz™ like Raspberry, Ivory, and Lavender!
A must-have for the Cut Flower garden and the Pollinator border, these gorgeous bloomers perform as well in the pampered Cottage Garden as they do in the Rock Garden! Buzz™ Magenta is even salt tolerant so you can use it along sidewalks and driveways that get salted in the winter months!
Plant a few Buzz™ Magenta in containers for your sunny patio or front porch. The back pool deck will become a hotspot for everyone to relax and that garden bench will become a divine place to sit and watch butterflies! #ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant Buddleia in full sun and well-drained moderately moist soil. Plant in about any type of soil that isn't soggy and top off with a 3-4 inch layer of mulch to retain moisture and insulate the roots. While drought tolerant once established, provide supplemental moisture during trying times to keep the blooms returning! Deadhead as the flowers fade to encourage plenty of rebloom.
These shrubs can act as woody flowering ornaments in warm climates, and in the warmest of their growing zone range do appreciate some afternoon shade. However, in colder climates, Buddleia acts as an herbaceous perennial and can die back to the ground in the winter. In very early spring, before you see new growth, prune the entire plant near the ground to ensure an even new flush of growth each year.
Buzz™ Magenta is a low-maintenance shrub and overall hardy! Even though it's a magnet for pollinators, other wildlife (such as deer), tend to leave it alone.
- Full Sun & Afternoon Shade In Hot Climates
- Well-Drained Soil
- Moderate Moisture & Fertility
- Prune to Ground Early Spring
- Salt-Resistant, Deer Resistant & Fast Growth Rate
For lovely flowers on a smaller stature shrub, you can't go wrong with Buzz™ Magenta Butterfly Bush. This fast-growing, ornamental shrub is high-performing and brings the magic of butterflies to your yard each year. It's a must-have and available at Nature Hills Nursery!
