Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones
Velvety and delicious, the Bonny Royal Apricot Tree (Prunus armeniaca 'Bonny Royal') is a firm and juicy golden-yellow fruit that has a freestone pit for easy eating and preparation! The honey-sweet flesh has a strong flavor and aroma! The tender texture is the perfect balance of sugar and acid for a sweet and tangy floral homegrown fruit that is plentiful throughout early summer!
Blooming in spring with a profusion of delightful pink blossoms that bees and butterflies go crazy for, these gorgeous flowering trees are highlighted by bright green foliage as soon as the flowers begin to fade. Casting lush shade and rustling in the breeze, the strong, open canopy looks idyllic in the landscape! Soon you'll see the summer fruits forming and dangling heavily from each branch.
Growing to a smaller mature height of 12-18 feet tall and 12-15 feet wide, these can be easily pruned smaller as needed for easy harvest or for tucking into an existing orchard or established landscape. Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 5-8, the Bonny Royal Apricot Trees are low-maintenance and Bonny is self-fertile, but for a much larger harvest, pair with another Apricot tree for more fruit per tree.
Planting and Application:
When ripe, the fruits maintain a firm but tender texture and contain balanced sugar and acidity levels, contributing to its sweet and tangy, fruity, and subtly floral flavor. These highly flavored fruits are incredible for healthy snacks and cooking, baking and preserves. The perfect balance of firm and velvety delicate fruit, they look lovely dangling from your tree and you'll have all of the neighbors drooling in anticipation for harvest. Try grilling these to caramelize the sugars and add a smoky-sweet flavor to all of your backyard barbecues and BBQ sauces.
Bonny Royal starts off the year with a flourish of bright flowers that are highly ornamental in the landscape. The lush green leaves provide gorgeous shade and of course, the fuzzy jewels hanging from the tree add instant curb appeal, and front yards, orchards, and backyard landscaping for dual purpose edible gardening.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Apricot Trees do best in full sun and well-drained soil. Plant your fruit tree in highly enriched organic locations with moderate, yet consistent moisture access and a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist bark chips. Prune only in the late winter or very early in the spring to control the size and improve air circulation within the canopy.
