To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Bare Root Plants
Bare root plants are sold by height from the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may exceed minimum height requirements.

- Shrubs & Perennials: 1 foot, 18 inches, 2 feet

Bodacious® Rhythm and Blues Salvia (Salvia x guaranitica 'Rhythm & Blues' PP #29,585) is a fantastic new Salvia that blooms sooner and blooms longer than its cousins! Dramatically royal-purple, almost cobalt blossoms and black stems tower over the dark, textured foliage! These are high-impact plants that anchor and ground your other plantings while calling pollinators and hummingbirds in droves!
If you are lucky to live in a warm climate, Rhythm and Blues is an outstanding perennial, but more northern gardeners and those with cold winters will still be able to enjoy this fast-growing Salvia as a high intensity annual for planters and garden beds! The unique hooded blooms stand out and stand tall along black stems.
Bodacious® Rhythm and Blues Salvia has scented foliage and blossoms and blooms all growing season while maintaining a fast, compact clump of pointed leaves that requires little in the way of care.
Planting and Application:
Dark brooding colors like these look fantastic in light pots and planters, drastically contrasting with white and light-colored blossoms and home exteriors! The dark stems help the saturated blossoms stand out and stand tall above the pleated, scented foliage.
