To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Bare root plants are sold by height from the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may exceed minimum height requirements.

Bloomables® Dapper® Lavender Butterfly Bush (Buddleia davidii 'Buddaplav') is a compact new Butterfly Bush with showy lavender, scented blooms that is sure to attract the attention of every butterfly and bee as perfectly as its larger Buddleia cousins!
Dapper® Lavender features upright spires of light purple flowers that are formed in early summer and continue to re-bloom into the fall. Spent flowers are hidden by new blooms, reducing the need for deadheading. The aromatic light green leaves stay dense unlike their airy and openly branched family.
Bloomables® brand Dapper® Buddleia have a smaller, rounded, and more compact habit, and this makes this Buddleia a perfect fit for a variety of landscape applications! The soft pastel lavender holds up in the sun all day and these hardy plants thrive throughout USDA growing zones 6 through 9!Planting and Application:
Dapper® Lavender Butterfly Bushes smaller size and compact growth habit make them ideal for courtyards, balcony planters, and porch or patio containers! #ProPlantTips for Care:
Buddleia Butterfly Bushes bloom best and have the strongest stems in full sun, so provide at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Plant in almost any kind of well-drained, enriched soil with a 3-4 inch layer of mulch as topdressing. Then in the early spring before you see new growth, prune back your entire bush. This plant is like a woody perennial in colder winters and will die back. Cut the stems down in late winter or early spring before it starts to grow and all fresh new growth will develop from the roots. Deadhead to keep new blooms returning all growing season. Butterfly Bushes are rarely damaged by deer unless truly desperate!
